DYNAMIC TRUTH

Dynamic Truth consists of six men from the San Francisco Bay Area. Bound by their passion for music, this group seeks to both honor and further the proud creative history of their home. Through the strength of their lyrics and melodies, these musicians tell their story. Tapping into the diversity of their backgrounds and personalities, this group aims to please ears, move bodies, and in doing so, empower minds.

Driven by Gordon Battles’ incendiary lyrics and a smooth rhythm section led by Sam Schwartz on guitar, this band seeks to fully embody its name. Their songs present a familiar message, one of unity, gratitude, and an enduring love of life. Heavily rock-influenced and with overtones of both funk and R n’ B they created their own, fresh, hip-hop sound.

In only their first year together, DT has shared the stage with such Bay Area hip hop luminaries as Rappin’ 4 Tay and Yukmouth. They have performed at venues across the bay area including the Blue Lagoon, DNA Lounge, and most recently Elbo Room. Their debut album, "Dynamic Truth" (2011), is available on iTunes.
