Travel

Whether traveling by land or air, Oakland is easy to get to. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is less than 10 miles from the downtown area, BART has two stops in downtown Oakland, Amtrak runs through Oakland with a stop at Jack London Square as does Greyhound. If driving, the downtown area is easily accessible from I-980/880.

City Center West Garage (entrance on Jefferson Street or MLK Jr. Way between 12th and 14th) - FREE Parking for 1,100 cars. Opens at 6 a.m.

City Center Garage (entrance on 11th Street between Clay Street and Broadway; also entrance on 14th Street) - $5 Parking all day
Oakland Marriott City Center Garage (entrance on 11th Street between Clay and Broadway)
There is also street parking.

BART Service does not begin until 8 AM on Sunday. The 12th Street/City Center Station is steps from the Start/Finish Line. (Price varies depending on where you board)
