The Capitol Corridor train stops at Jack London Square’s Amtrak station (with easy connections to AC Transit or the free downtown “B” shuttle).  All trains feature Wi-Fi, a Café Car, bicycle racks and electrical outlets. Race Day Travel Information

Courtesy Shuttles

We will provide complementary Race Day Shuttles to and from Eastshore Park from various locations in the city including the Marriott City Center, BART stations and Downtown Parking areas.

The Pick up/Drop off location will be staged at the Splash Pad Parking Lot north of Eastshore Park (along Grand Ave, just north of the 580 Overpass). Shuttles will run from 5:30 am – 2:00 pm.

Stop #1 – Oakland Marriott City Center (10th and Broadway)
Stop #2– 19th Street BART and Downtown Parking Areas (20th and Broadway)

Public Transportation

  • AC TRANSIT (BETWEEN $2-$4):
    • FROM SAN FRANCISCO: NL, 800
  • BART Service does not begin until 8 AM on Sunday.  The courtesy shuttle (see above) will provide transportation from the 19th Street Station to the Start/Finish Line. (Price varies depending on where you board)
